The geographical place of Jesus’ earthly ministry was foretold by the prophet Isaiah. Similar to his call to the first disciples, when Jesus calls us to be a disciple, it is a call to follow Him. He will make us fishers of men. The essential message needed to fish for people includes: the cross, the resurrection, repentance, and forgiveness of sins.
