Without the teaching and direction of Jesus, God’s people would be like sheep without a shepherd. The miracle of feeding the 5000 shows his compassion and his power as the Son of God. The disciples were amazed when he walked on the water as their hearts were hard, not understanding who he was while feeding the 5000.
