The Bible teaches that God owns everything and we are stewards/managers for the time we live on this earth. Throughout the Old Testament, God’s people were to honor God by tithing their income (giving 10%). In the New Testament, God’s people were to honor God with proportionate and generous giving responding to the grace of Christ.
